Alicia Bubier Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funeral Alternatives Group - Lewiston on Apr. 23, 2024.
Date of Death: April 13, 2024
Date of Birth: August 17, 1975
Alicia Jo (Polley) Bubier, 48, of Wales, died on April 13 while delivering the mail in Litchfield. Born August 17, 1975, to Donald 'Cliffie' 'Papa' Polley (1947-2022), and Lorry Polley, Alicia graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1994, and then Thomas College with an Associates Degree in Hospitality Management in 1997.
A member of the Monmouth Fair Planning Committee, Alicia enjoyed visiting agricultural fairs all over the state. An avid horse rider during her childhood, including competing for years in various 4-H events and barrel racing, Alicia's love for animals grew to include goats, ducks, mini donkeys, and a yard full of chickens. No hobby brought her greater joy, though, than riding ATV's and her four-person side by side, which she toured us in down every back road you can imagine. 'Comin' in hot' was her motto and no one was safe when there was a mudhole in the vicinity while Alicia was driving.
Alicia dedicated her life to raising her children, Taylor and Tanner, who she loved more than life itself. Survived by her husband of 25 years, Tony; her sister Marsha Polley-Bonin and her husband, Paul; her brother Lance Polley, his partner Caitlyn Little, and children Benjamin Polley, Lillian Polley, and Isabella Colgan; mother Lorry Polley; and various aunts and uncles.
Alicia's Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 5th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, at the Monmouth Fair Grounds. As this is a celebration and not a funeral, we request you wear the same bright colors and/or funny shirts that Alicia always adorned.
