Aliki "Soula" Augustine, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on September 23rd, 2025 with her daughter by her side. Aliki was born in Rhodes, Greece to Dr. Emmanuel and Maria Kathopoulis on March 8th, 1941. While living in Greece, she was her school's track star – winning every race run. She was heavily involved in other school activities as well as several organizations focused on philanthropic work around the island.

In 1970, she traveled to the US to visit family and met Stacy Augustine, whom she married 16 days later, and relocated to Ormond Beach, FL where she resided until her passing.

Aliki was an active member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, volunteering primarily with the youth. She was the community's first Greek Dance Instructor, teaching the local teens and young adults to perform native dances at the church's annual Greek Festival. Forty years later, she led the dancers again for the festival's anniversary dance. "Kiklo pedia, kiklo" was her signature phrase which any of her students reading this will remember (circle kids, circle).

Family was extremely important to Aliki and although she loved her daughter Maria and son-in-law Yanni very much, her granddaughters Aliki and Emma were her world.

Aliki was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel & Maria Kathopoulis; brothers-in-law Fotis Drakou, A. J. Augustine, and Zeno Louizes; sister-in-law Joanne Augustine; niece Julie De La Mota and nephew John Augustine. She is survived by her husband, Stacy, of 54 years; daughter, Maria; son-in-law, Yanni; granddaughters, Aliki and Emma; sister, Nomiki Drakou; sisters-in-law, Maria Augustine, Becky Theos (Chris), and Joyce Louizes; plus many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Visitation and Trisagion Service will take place on Tuesday, September 30th from 5pm-8pm at Lohman Funeral Home in Ormond Beach, 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, 386-673-1100. Following her wishes, Aliki's funeral will take place in Rhodes, Greece. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church towards the Greek Dance Program.
