Glen Vertna Langlois

Glen Langlois, was a man who refused to stop working and lived life on his own terms. He peacefully passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 76. He left this world the same way he lived in it: unexpectedly, with a joke on his lips, and likely in the middle of a glass of scotch, which probably, was not a bad idea.

Born on October 9, 1949 in Jackman, Maine to Wilfred Langlois and Florabell Brooks, he never met a stranger he couldn't charm. He spent his life pursuing passions that defied convention-from his accounting days, to truck driver, to flight attendant (any many more occupations after retirement.)

His professional life as an Accountant was just a cover for his true role as a flight attendant. The joke was that he was the world's oldest flight attendant. A job he truly loved.

He is survived by his brothers (Eric Langlois, Craig Stanley, Wayne Stanley, Keith Stanley) and nieces and nephews (Jennifer Labieniec, Vince Sinosky, Nicholas Sinosky, Rebecca Sinosky, Erica Langlois Hamilton, and Kurt Langlois.) He also leaves behind his chosen companion, Dustin Gothard who he spent his last years with enjoying life.

A private family celebration of Glen's extraordinary, eccentric life will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans Association or the Halifax Humane Society in honor of Annie Langlois.
