Alina Kuptsova, age 64, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Alina was most beloved mother, grandmother, and a true friend. She had a big heart, she was kind and giving, she was intelligent with a good sense of humor. Her spirit was always up even though she had many downs. She helped many people on her path even though her own journey was full of thorns.
Alina had to be a mother and a father to her only child, so she was both: sweet and tough. She was a very determined woman.
She gave up her life in Ukraine to come to USA to seek a better future for her son. She came United States when she was 42, without much money in the pocket and nowhere to go back to. Alina worked many jobs and went to college in hopes for better future here. She was able to bring her mother to United States after her father passed away in Ukraine. Alina provided for her and was her caregiver neglecting her personal life yet again.
Despite all the challenges in her life, she always remained calm and respectful. She always found something positive in every difficult situation. She finally could have start living the life for herself, but she was taken from us too soon.
Kingdom of heaven to you, Mommy, sleep well, you will always be with us.
We pray for you... and we know you see us from the Heaven and protect us with your gentle hands.
Amen.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home located at 275 West Milton Ave. in Rahway, NJ 07065. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at St. Spiridon Orthodox Cemetery in Fords.
