Aline M. Girard

Aline Marie (Poulin) Girard, 66, of Biddeford, Maine passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home after a lengthy illness. She was born on November 14, 1958, in St. Zacharie, Beauce, Canada to Omer and Antoinette (Paquette) Poulin.
Lynn, as she was called by friends and family, moved to Biddeford in 1971 with her younger sister Noelline. Most of her older siblings were already living in Biddeford. She made many life-long friends and enjoyed going to the Olive Garden, Dunkin Donuts and summers in the sun. She spent a few years in Florida and a few back in her native Canada, however, she always returned to Biddeford. She and her sister Noelline spent most of their time together and when Lynn became ill, Noelline lovingly became her caregiver.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Gaetane Poirier (2014) and a brother, Jacques Poirier (1991).
She will be missed terribly by her surviving siblings, Roger Poirier and companion Joan Fecteau, Giles Poirier and wife Pris, Louise Lebel and husband Gervais, and Noelline Bissonnette and husband Bryan. Her little dog, baby Chico will miss her so much. He was the love of her life. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who adored their Matante Lynn.
The family would like to thank all her loving friends that remained with Lynn until the end and especially the staff at Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home who provided compassionate and loving care.
A private family remembrance will be conducted at a later date.
