Aline Thompson, age 83 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Aug 28, 2025, at Heritage Nursing Home in Minster, Ohio.
She was born July 1, 1942, in Harlan, KY, to Everett & Johnie Mae (Edwards) Thompson. She was the eldest of 13 siblings.
Aline was preceeded in death by brothers; Kenny, Mike, Russell Thompson; and sister, Theate Athey.
She is survived by children, Michael (Kim) Bailey, of Knoxville, TN; Deborah (David) Crabtree, of Caryville, TN; Teresa Chadwell, of Scott Depot, WV; Tammie (Steve)Teague, of LaFollette, TN; Ralph Bailey, of Palestine, OH, Jack (Melissa) Bailey, of Gettysburg, OH; her 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; brothers; James Thompson, of Evarts, Ky, Danny Thompson, of Leavenworth, KS, Eddie (Susan)Thompson, of Higginsville, MO, Bruce (Debi) Thompson, of Perry, KS; her sisters; Jeanette Bailey, of Kansas City, MO, Kathy (Donnie) Stokes, of Evarts, KY, Linda (Dale) Leiviska, of Higginsville, MO, Joyce Thompson, Topeka, KS.
Aline committed over 25 years of her life to the nursing field, serving with grace and care at Lake Shore Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, Reid Hospital in Richmond, and completing her career at Wayne Hospital in Greenville. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless patients and families, leaving an indelible mark on the community she served.Beyond her professional achievements, Aline was a passionate crafter, finding joy in creating beautiful arts and crafts that brought smiles to friends and family alike. She was a dedicated Christian, whose faith in the Lord Jesus Christ guided her through all of life's challenges and triumphs. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs instilled hope and inspiration in those around her.
There will be no services.
