Alisha Korkis Bazi, born April 26, 1954, to the late Gorgees and Romy Bazi, passed away on August 5, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Marleen Bazi. Dearest brother of the late Mariam Bazi, Sabri (Iman) Bazi, Yasmin (Oshana-deceased) Bazi, Sabriya (Polus-deceased) Bazi, Ramziya (Sargon) Yousif, and Bazi Bazi. Beloved Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews that he loved and treated as his own.
Alisha was and always will be known for his genuine smile, contagious laugh, and funny jokes. With his strong faith in God, Alisha was an active member of St Mary's Assyrian Church of the East in Warren, MI. His amazing cooking skills had everyone looking forward to his dishes at family gatherings. Chooka's silly personality had him always ready with a dollar stuffed hot dog for his nieces and nephews' birthdays and holidays. His sweet gentle soul extended through every inch of his being and he will be forever missed.
