Alison Federico-Thomas Obituary
Alison was born in Newark and grew up in Maplewood. She graduated from Our Lady of Sorrows High School in South Orange. Alison lived in Westfield for many years.
She moved with her husband Jim Thomas to Unionvale NY. They lived happily in upstate NY for 10 years. Alison then moved to Avenel five years ago.
She was a "Jack of All Trades" having training in Emergency services and knew almost everything in the medical field. She was the children's go to medical expert.
She will be remembered for her amazing cooking, green thumb, and having the largest heart. Alison loved her pets as well.
Surviving are her husband, James Thomas; her mother Marie Dutter; her children, Jake, Lisa, Julianna and Robert Federico; her brothers Tom and Greg Dutter. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Dutter.
Visitation will be at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield, on Sunday, October 15th, from 1 PM to 4 PM. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Westfield on Sunday, October 22nd at 1 PM.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to First United Methodist Church, Westfield, NJ.
