Alison King Obituary
Alison Johnette Woods King, 52, wife of Gary Lynn King, Jr. for 7 years, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 25, 2024.
Alison was born in Simpsonville to Ada Loretta Spoon Woods and the late Rev. John Edward Woods. She was a member of Heritage at Crestview Baptist Church and worked for Holmes Veterinary Hospital. Alison absolutely loved her beach trips and spending time with family. She cherished being NaNa to J.T. She enjoyed signing and playing the piano. Alison loved anything in pink; however, her main collectibles was anything to do with pineapples.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two daughters, Amber Moser and Alissa Barton with husband Joshua; a brother, Keith Woods with wife Billie; a sister, Lori Powell with husband Allan; and a grandson, J.T. Moser.
Visitation will be 3 – 5 PM Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
A Celebration of Alison's Life will be 2 o'clock Monday at Heritage at Crestview Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Woods Family plot at Hillside Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Daughters of the American Revolution, Attn: Snow Campaign – DAR, Patricia Golz, 14 Braywood Court, Simpsonville, SC 29680-6523.
