Aliyah Lynae Miles was born to Lynette and Damion Keith Miles on July 26, 2002 in
Trenton, NJ. At the tender age of 7, her family embarked on a journey to
Snellville, GA, where she would leave a lasting mark on the hearts of many. In 2020, she graduated from South Gwinnett High School. She then pursued her education at the University of West Georgia, setting the stage for a life filled with compassion and dedication.
Her nurturing spirit found solace in caring for children, a role she cherished dearly as she worked tirelessly both at a daycare and as a beloved nanny. Her affinity for children was matched only by her love for them, and her impact on their lives will forever be treasured.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Aliyah was a vibrant soul, finding joy in the artistry of tattooing and piercing, which served as canvases for her boundless self-expression. Her passion for these forms of art was a testament to her creative spirit and unwavering authenticity. Aliyah was a vibrant soul who loved to express herself. Whether it was a praise dance or her playing the violin, her performances were always graceful and comforting.
She was a beacon of friendship, radiating warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter was infectious, her counsel unwavering, and her presence a source of encouragement to many.
Aliyah held family as the cornerstone of her life. Family gatherings were not mere occasions but sacred rituals where love flowed freely, and bonds grew stronger with each passing moment. Summertime held a special place in Aliyah's heart, not only was it a time to celebrate her birthday but she also cherished the joyous reunions with her New Jersey family. Among them, her cousins, aunts, uncles, and her late great-grandmother, formed the tapestry of her fondest memories.
Aliyah's unwavering commitment to family was a testament to her compassionate spirit and nurturing soul. She found comfort in the embrace of her loved ones, finding strength and joy in their presence. On June 4, 2024, Aliyah left us too soon, leaving behind memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
As we bid farewell to Aliyah, she leaves behind a legacy of love and light that will continue to illuminate the lives of those she touched. She is predeceased by her grandmothers, Shirley Manley and Rita Miles. She is survived by her adoring parents, Lynette Miles and Damion Keith Miles; three devoted sisters, Simone Moses, Jordan Miles, and Kennedy Miles; maternal grandfather, Eugene McMillian; paternal grandparents, Allen and Glay Miles; godparents, Keisha and Roosevelt Coleman, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
