Allan Downs Obituary
Allan, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the age of 61 years. He was predeceased by his father Herbert Samuel Downs and sister Nancy Joy Downs. Allan is survived by his wife Kathy Downs; daughters Larissa Beaudin (Marc), Samantha Downs (Taylor Graff); son Alexander Downs (Jess Kaytor); three grandchildren, Marin, Elliott, and Jonah; mother Vi Parker (Ed) of Surrey, BC; sister Linda Colasacco (Rick Kearney) of Surrey, BC; as well as one nephew and numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The Downs family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of Parkside Extendicare for the care both Allan and his family received in the early stages of his long-term care stay. Allan was in the care of Lumsden Heritage Home for the last two years of his life. He was given compassionate, kind and truly loving care in Lumsden. The staff became like family to the entire Downs family for which they are eternally grateful. Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue, Regina, SK, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at a later date. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.

Our deepest condolences to Kathy and Family. He will be greatly missed by all. He had such a wonderful family and there will be so many wonderful memories that live on.
