Allan Joseph Goroski, 75, of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2025, during his recent battle with cancer.
Allan was born on March 3, 1950, in Beach, N.D., the son of the late Anselm and Helen (Gonshorowski) Goroski. He grew up on the family farm in Greenbush, Minn. where he learned to operate and repair farm equipment, care for the animals and drive a truck into town at age 8. At age 12 he moved with his family to Kenosha and attended Lincoln Jr. High School and Tremper High School.
He then attended Automotive School in Cudahy, Wis. where he received his Mechanic's License and also attended Gateway Technical College of Racine where he received his Bricklayer's Apprenticeship. He worked for local masonry companies, became a highly respected Bricklayer/Mason Foreman with P&S Masonry of Lake Villa, Ill. and was a member of Union No. 20 of Lake County, Ill. Allan was a perfectionist and classic provider who maintained everything and was prepared for anything.
There was nothing he couldn't fix. He was a member of the Wisconsin Golden Gloves, raced vehicles and boats, loved vintage vehicles and was a car guy. Being an animal lover, he left behind his cat, Tinkerbell. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed ice fishing and being on his pontoon on a quiet lake.
On October 20, 1968, Allan married Janet Halsted; they divorced in 1986. On July 2, 1987, he married Bonnie (Sorenson) Wollman.
Surviving include his wife of 38 years, Bonnie Goroski of Kenosha; children, Scott (Lisa) Goroski of Franksville, Jennifer (George) Drivas of Waupaca, Rebecca (John) Dudek of Waupaca, Loren (Samantha) Goroski of Kenosha, Robin Goroski of Kenosha; stepson, Benjamin Wollman of Milwaukee; brother, Matthew (Pauline) Goroski of Kenosha; sisters, Karen Pulczinski of WI, Jeanette Schumacher of Kenosha, Doris (Billy) Bruff of Kenosha, and Diane (Richard) Lavish of Kenosha; also included are his grandchildren, Kyle Drivas, Alyssa Goroski, Kirsten Peterson, Daniel Goroski, Ryan Drivas and Xander Goroski.
