Mr. Allan William McKinstry, Jr. age 72, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Upton, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was the husband of Debra (DeFazio) McKinstry with whom he had known for 15 years. Allan was also the proud Dad of Kyla (McKinstry) Stevens and her husband David, Erika (McKinstry) Wine and her husband Chris. He was always so elated to see his amazing grandchildren, Tyler Litchfield, Jayden, McKenzie, Elijah Wine and Amelia and Cora Stevens.
Born and raised in Upton, Massachusetts, he loved living on a lake, swimming, water skiing, ice skating and hockey. Allan was the son of the late Allan and Gladys (Bigelow) McKinstry. Allan was a devoted brother to Glenn, Janice (McKinstry) Mosko and her husband Jack. He was predeceased by his brother Robert. Allan also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Allan spent many years in the hospitality management business as the Opening Manager of the Right Field Roof Deck at Fenway Park and the Beverage Manager at the Hines Convention Center in Boston.
During his retirement years, Allan enjoyed the Florida sunshine and especially loved spending time on the golf course. A life long passion that brought him peace, a sense of adventure and many friendships.
