Alan" BIG AL" Parson was 66 yrs old. Born to Ruby Baker "Parson" and Alonzo " Pete" Parson on Aug 4th 1958 in Cincinnati at General Hospital. Alan suddenly passed away on Wed April 23rd 2025 in Independence Ky. Alan was such a great person he had such a big heart and also held a special place in our hearts! To know Big Al is to love him ! Big Al was for sure the life of the party! A wild child yes but kind hearted always! Al loved to drink his ice cold beer ( in his younger days ), relax, listen to his music and smoke his cigarettes ! Alan enjoyed being outdoors camping, hiking, fishing, grill outs, swimming, walking everywhere, fireworks, loved playing kick the can, would look for worms when it rained to go fishing, would collect cans to cash in for money! Loved being around those who loved him ! Alan enjoyed watching cartoons and old movies ! Alan was a great uncle ! Alan, I want you to know Although you sleep in heaven now you're not that far away, My heart is full of memories and you're with me everyday, a world that was full of happiness is now an empty place. People say that only time will heal a broken heart, but just like me and you, it has been torn apart. I know you are at peace now, and in a place where you are free. Meet me at the pearly gates when heaven calls for me. Though you are no longer here, you'll never be truly gone. So long as we have memories your spirit will carry on. So until we see your smile again we will hold you in our hearts! Now I have to remember you, longer than I got to know you. ( Cheers ) to Big Al ! Forever missed and Always loved. ( In Alan's voice ) I love you Duey !! Alan called everyone Duey when he used to drink and mess with everyone. He would get the biggest smile on his face and start laughing hard whenever he called folks Duey !!
