Allan Platt Obituary
Allan Sounson Platt of Irving, Texas passed peacefully on August 22, 2023, in Carrollton, Texas.
He was a 1982 Graduate of Carrollton Newman Smith High School. Allen went on to a career within the Dallas area including such brands as Westin, Marriott, Harvey Hotels, and most recently Hilton Hotels. He thrived in the hotel biz and forged many life-long friendships with coworkers who will miss him dearly.
Allan's two passions in life were travel and sports. He took many trips with family and friends all over the USA, Europe and Asia. Allan was also an avid Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars fan and he would rarely miss a game. He also loved taking part in fantasy football leagues.
Allan is survived by three wonderful cousins Karyn Parsons, Dr. Bill Platt D.O, and Gary Allan Platt. Allan was preceded in death by his beloved parents William and Poppy Platt of Farmers Branch, Texas.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Allan's life at 11:00 a.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options on Wednesday October 4, 2023.
