Allen Ashley Beech, Jr., age 86,
Atlanta, Georgia entered his eternal resting place Sunday, March 16, 2025. Allen Beech was a man of great intellect, kindness, and unwavering dedication. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1960, a proud Yellow Jacket through and through. His love for Georgia Tech football never wavered, no matter the season or the score. Saturdays in the fall were always filled with excitement, loyalty, and the occasional spirited debate over a referee's call. He would always tell people that his two favorite teams are Georgia Tech and whoever was playing UGA!! After college, he went on to have a successful career as the Chief Industrial Engineer at Mead Packaging Corporation. He was a man who believed in hard work, precision, and innovation, always striving to better himself at work. But for all his accomplishments in the business world, his true calling came later in life. After his business career, he felt a deep desire to give back-to make a difference in the lives of those who needed it most. He became a teacher in the DeKalb County school system, dedicating his time and energy to helping underprivileged children. He believed in the power of prayer, education, in lifting others up, and in giving every child the chance to succeed. He wasn't just a teacher; he was a mentor, a guide, and a source of encouragement for so many young lives. Outside of his career and his service, my father found joy in the simple, beautiful moments with his lovely wife of 59 years Monte. One of his greatest loves was the time they spent together at the beach, walking along the shore, feeling the ocean breeze, and spending precious time with his family. Some of our best memories were made there, fishing, sharing stories, and just being together. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Greta Beech; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lisa Beech; sister and brother-in-law, Bootsie and Herman Atwood; sister and brother-in-law, Marylyn and Mike Yaks; grandchildren: Jordan Beech, Lauren Beech, Connor Beech, Bethany Beech, Brenna (Bo) Chambliss, Bailey (Zach) Whiten, McKenzie (Annsley) Beech and Abuk Wach; great grandchildren: John Allen Beech and Akoi Aboui.
