Allen Glenn Bellin, 86, was called to his heavenly home on June 22, 2025, surrounded by the familiarity and comfort of his residence in Oxford Township, Isanti County. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 30, 2025 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Weber/North Branch. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Born on November 2, 1938, to Harold and Rubie Bellin, Allen was baptized later that month and remained a steadfast member of St. John's Lutheran Church his entire life.
Allen was one of a kind-fiercely independent, deeply loyal, and always unapologetically himself. After graduating, he set off for St.Paul, where he spent many years working with his brother Lloyd at Buck's Blacktopping. While the job paid the bills, it was the friendships he formed there-and the mischief he got into after hours-that made those years so memorable.
He loved people, but also cherished solitude. Allen never married, often saying he liked the freedom to live life on his terms. He had a quick wit, a soft spot for Cadillacs, and an uncanny ability to win at bingo. Whether he was playing dice late into the night over coffee and cookies or meticulously mowing the lawn with the precision of a craftsman, Allen found joy in the small, steady rhythms of life.
He was always tinkering-fixing things not because they were broken, but because he believed they could be better. His shop was a second home, and his lawn a canvas. When he wasn't working with his hands, he was often out exploring-Vegas trips, fishing on Lake Mille Lacs, or heading to the Grand Casino where luck often smiled on him. Retirement never slowed him down. He'd hop in his pickup for a drive to his favorite spots, often returning with nothing more than a smile and a bottle of pink lemonade. Allen's independent spirit and loving heart left an imprint on all who knew him.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Rubie; his siblings, Lloyd (Annette) and Annabelle (Glenn); and sister-in-law, Joyce.
Allen is lovingly remembered by his brothers, Loran Bellin and Harlan (Michelle) Bellin; his nephews, Mark (Janice) Bellin, Mike (Roxane) Bellin, David (Karla) Bellin, and Richard (Linnae) Bellin; and his nieces, Christine (Josh) Anderson and Kathleen (Joe) Lind. He also leaves behind ten great-nieces and nephews, and three great-great-nieces and nephews, who will carry forward the stories, the laughter, and the love that defined Uncle Allen. We know of his strong Christian faith and now must be in comfort of knowing he's with his Heavenly father in paradise.
