Allen Wayne Broyles

FORT WORTH - Allen Wayne Broyles, 82, passed away Aug. 11, 2023.
Born Aug. 22, 1940, in Houston, Texas, Allen was a dedicated business owner and a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Allen attended primary school at Seagraves Elementary and then continued his Elementary and Middle School years in the Snyder ISD schools. After moving to Fort Worth, he graduated from Poly High School in 1958. During his tenure at Poly, Allen was a member of the Marching 100 Band and the Stage Band, playing the Saxophone.
Allen established Broyles Interiors, a floor covering business, in 1960. Known for his reliability and craftsmanship, he had a tremendous work ethic and thrived on building relationships with his clients and business associates.
Allen was a family-oriented man who cherished his time with loved ones. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, and had a deep love for music, particularly oldies like Elvis, Little Richard, and Jerry Lee Lewis. He was also an avid bowler as a young adult.
Allen grew up in the Apostolic Faith Church and worshiped in the Nazarene Church as an adult.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Allen Alonzo Broyles; mother, Paulene Farrell Broyles; and his brother, Farrell Ray Broyles.
Allen is survived by his wife, Jane Broyles; daughter, Joy Sullivan; son, Allen Broyles, Jr., and wife, Sherry; stepson, Chris Rodgers and wife, Elisabeth; stepson, Craig Rodgers, and wife, Carol; sister, Paula Webb and husband, Michael; nephew, Brandon Webb and wife, Lindsay; niece, Courtney Owens and husband, Cameron; as well as his grandchildren, Levi, Micah, Cristian, Eden, Martin, Shane, Preston, Deandra, Shelby, Alex, Jallen, Aaron and Brennan; and his great-grandchildren, Elias, June, Tripp, Ryleigh and Ellis.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, in Greenwood Chapel. Visitation with the family: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at Greenwood.
The family would like to thank Kyle Croysdale for 40 plus years of friendship and dedicated service to Broyles Interiors. Thank you also to caregiver Mary Ukonu for taking such wonderful care of Allen during the last 18 months.
Allen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
