Allen Leroy Carter, 68, of Folkston, GA passed away at Folkston Park Care and Rehab on Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 26, 1957, to the late Elbert Barton Carter and Margaret Eleanor Klintworth Carter. Allen served in the United States Army, was a carpenter by trade, and loved playing the keyboard.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Barbara Ellen Castleberry and Deborah Carter.
He is survived by his sister: Marion Carter of Kingsland, GA; two brothers and sister-in-law: Carl Ray (Helen) Carter of Arlington, GA and Eddie Carter of Baconton, GA.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
