Allen Easley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home & Crematory Services, Pittsfield on Mar. 17, 2023.
NEWPORT-Allen B. Easley, 54, sadly left us on March 12, 2023. He was born in Pittsfield, Maine, on September 17, 1968. He was the son of Keith and Linda Fennelly and graduated from Nokomis Regional High School. Allen enjoyed the great outdoors through hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He enjoyed tying his own flies for fishing, painting pictures for his family, and teaching himself to play a few tunes on the fiddle and banjo. Allen formerly served on the fire department in Waterville, Maine. He was a kind man, who dedicated many years to caring for his parents.
Allen is survived by his mother, Linda Fennelly; sister, Dawn and her husband Tom of Troy; brother Keith and his wife Tracey of Florida; and brother Craig and his wife Jennifer of Carmel. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, whom he adored: Elizabeth Easley, Diane Tyler and her partner Ian Stover and their children Jakub and Charlotte, Keith Fennelly III and his wife Lindsey, Aliana Fennelly, and Eyan Fennelly. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Allen is survived by a special friend and neighbor, Mike Bruckman. Allen's family also included his pet geese and beloved dog, Colby.
Allen is predeceased by his father, Keith Fennelly; grandmother, Clara Easley; and niece, Hazel Fuller.
The family would like to say how grateful they are to all the EMS, fire fighters, Sebasticook Valley Hospital staff, and community members who worked to rescue and care for Allen and his mother. He will be sadly missed by everyone, especially his mother. Allen was a member of the Stetson Union Church. A spring funeral will be held at his church with Pastor David Ray Sr officiating.
