Allen Evans Obituary

Independence, Missouri - Allen Simon Evans, 89, passed away January 17, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born in Lead Hill, Arkansas, and lived most of his life in Independence, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Donna Ruth Evans. Allen owned and operated Evans Plumbing and Heating for over 40 years and was known for his strong work ethic and integrity. He enjoyed fishing, was active in his church, and sang in the choir.
He is survived by five daughters: Patty Evans, Lynda Baker (Bruce), Debbie Evans, Deanna Evans, and Susan Evans; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Brookdale College Square Memory Care or Phoenix HomeCare and Hospice, in gratitude for their compassionate care. Allen's full obituary can be found at www.speakschapel.com.
