Miguel Herrada Flores was born in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Zacatecas on September 29th of 1969. His parents were Altagracia Flores Martinez and J. Guadalupe Herrada Cisneros. Miguel was the 3rd of 8 siblings. When he immigrated into the United States he met his wife Maria Luisa Galvan. Together they both had 3 children, Jacqueline, Janet, and Miguel Angel.
Miguel was a man that enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved dancing cumbias. He loved learning new things. He loved to work especially when it came to working in construction. He was always proud of his work. Miguel had the heart of an angel; he always found ways to help his family, friends, and strangers. He would always say, “as long as God gives me license to work, I will help whoever is in need.” He would always put others first. He loved his family.
Nena was Miguel’s significant other; she was part of his life for 13 years. She was always there and showed him a unique way of seeing life. She helped him get out of his comfort zone and got him out to places he had not been to or seen. Thank you for being part of his life and standing by his side until the end.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He passed away after fighting colon cancer for two and half years. He gave it his all until there was nothing else to be done. He always had a good attitude going into his appointments and made doctors and staff laugh. He will always be remembered for his bright smile, kindness, and his way of seeing life. We have lost a great soul. Forever in our hearts.
