Allen was united in marriage on September 30, 1995 to Miss Denise Garrett and they spent the next 28 years happily together. He was employed for 35 years as a diesel mechanic at Lindahl Brothers in Bensenville, IL. Allen was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Allen is survived by his wife, Denise Gembeck of Lee, IL; his daughter, Abigail (fiancé, Dennis Hogan) Gembeck of Mendota, IL; his parents, Jim and Joyce Gembeck of Leland, IL; his siblings, Pam (Tom) Rogers of Leland, IL, Kurt (Amy) Gembeck of DeKalb, IL, Jay (Deanna) Gembeck of Aurora, IL.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dwayne J. Gembeck.
Remembrances of Allen will be shared by his family and friends at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1001 East Garfield Street in Waterman, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Funeral Home in Waterman, IL.
