Allen Hanson Obituary

Allen L. Hanson, 81, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024. His wife, Bernice, was by his side.

Allen was born on October 2, 1942 in Fergus Falls.

Allen was a poet, and he loved people. His poems came from his heart, and touched many. He loved Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Leona Hanson.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Hanson; daughters, Tracy (Dan) Hanson, Robyn (Ben) Murray, their mother, Donna Hanson; grandsons, Jacob (Alina) Linton, Ryan (Erica) Linton; foster grandson, Michael Whitman along with cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life: 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at Olson Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Clergy: Pastor Paul Anderson.

Cemetery: Sverdrup Cemetery, Underwood, MN.

Military Participation: Fergus Falls V. F.W. Post 612 and American Legion Post 30.

Arrangements provided by Olson Funeral and Cremation Service, Fergus Falls.
