Allen D. Kapp, 88, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his residence.
He was the husband of Fay C. (Hertzog) Kapp, who died January 27, 2022.
Born in Reistville, PA on March 21, 1937, he was a son of the late George W. and Florence E. (Sellers) Kapp.
A 1955 graduate of Richland High School, Allen was a member of Grace UCC, Richland. He worked as a load master at the PA National Guard Harrisburg International Airport, for 42 years, retiring in 1997. Allen was a member of the Williamson Masonic Lodge F&AM, Womelsdorf; Quittapahilla Forest, Lebanon; Tall Cedars, Lebanon; Richland American Legion, Post 880; Elizabethtown VFW; Air Force Sergeants Association, Harrisburg; and the Neptune Fire Co., Richland. He enjoyed woodworking, telling jokes and military stories, Jeff Dunham, and playing games with his family.
Allen is survived by a daughter, Valerie A. Kapp, wife of Robin Spiller, of Ohio; sons, Andrew D. Kapp, husband of Nancy, of AZ, Anthony T. Kapp, of Lebanon, and Raef A. Kapp, husband of Beth, of Florida; grandchildren, Amy Miller, wife of Loren, Alexa Kapp, Seric Kapp, husband of Becki; great-granddaughter, Harriet Miller; future great-grandson, Sonny Kapp; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley S. Kapp.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Grace UCC, 22 Church St., Richland, PA 17087. Inurnment will be private at Richland Cemetery.
