Allen McNutt, 82, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, in the Church of Christ at Borger. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a gift to the Children’s Home of Lubbock, 4404 Idalou Rd, Lubbock, Texas, 79403.
Allen was born in 1942 in Quanah, Texas to Lloyd and Ola McNutt. The family moved to Borger when Allen was 6. He graduated from Borger High School, marrying his sweetheart Pat Fuller in 1960. Allen went to work for Daco Oil and Lease and later with JM Huber being a longtime employee of 32 years working his way up to foreman. Allen and Pat have been faithful members of the Church of Christ at Borger for over 60 years. His hobbies included golf, square dancing, and yard work. He was a dedicated husband, father, and poppa and enjoyed his family time.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd McNutt; mother, Ola McNutt; brother, Donald; sister, Francis Clark; and grandson, Darick McNutt.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Pat of Borger; daughter, Kerrie Rodriguez (Randy) of Tulsa; son, Keith McNutt (Faith) of Mobile, Alabama; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Louise Collins of Glendora, California; and a host of extended family.
