Allen William Moore, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 15, 2025
Allen was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 2, 1939 to Allen and Edith Moore. Allen was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Richard Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda Jeanne, children Tammy Green and Greg, Kellie Bowers and Doug and Kimberly Moore husband Andrew Dunlap. Sister Kathy Moore and Jean, as well as 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Allen contracted polio in 1943 and never walked again. He never let that disease affect him! Allen was baptized at the age of 65. Allen had a radio career from 1964 until he retired in 2021. Allen had a 200 bowling average, loved woodworking and even drove a race car for a season. He was an avid Cubs, Green Bay Packers and car racing fan. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Shriners Hospital at donate.lovetotherescue.org earmarked for transportation. Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Bloomfield, NM on May 10, 2025 at 11:00 am. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Allen, please visit our Tree Store.
