Allen Rodgers

 

Allen Rodgers Jr., was born on June 2, 1990, in Kansas City, Missouri to Allen Rodgers Sr., and Lacresha Jenkins. He attended school in the Kansas City School District, graduating class of 2008. Allen was very outgoing, with a smile that warmed your heart and a contagious laugh to brighten your day. He never met a stranger. Allen worked in the hospitality field for many years, but he  really took pride as a Cannabis Specialist at Illicit Gardens for the last two years, where he was recently awarded employee of the month.

He was very creative and a great artist. He was selected to have two of his drawings placed in local restaurants in Missouri and Kansas.Allen liked to watch anime, smoke, play video games, and spend time with his family and friends. He was a volunteer coach for his bonus son’s soccer team and loved playing around with his kids, nieces, and nephews.

Allen always received compliments on his hair and he was so proud of it.He married Keshia on August 24, 2019. He was a very hard worker and a great provider for his family. Allen departed this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Keshia White; daughters, Brooklyn and Aries; son, Cameron; bonus son, Braylon; father, Allen Rodgers Sr.; mother, Lacresha Jenkins; sisters, Lanet Herron, and Shaneshia Rodgers; brothers, Deon Rodgers (Brandi), and Quentin Herron, all of Kansas City, MO; five nephews; four nieces, and a host   of other family, and friends, who loved him dearly and will greatly miss him.
