It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allen Lee Seals, who left this world on March 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Allen was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on December 29, 1952, the son of the late Jesse Seals and the late Francis Turner Seals. After high school, Allen joined the United States Air Force until his discharge. He worked for Bellsouth as a telephone service technician until his retirement. Following retirement, Allen worked as a courier for 25 years. He was a Baptist by faith.
Allen was a passionate Tennessee Volunteers fan-there was nothing quite like the sight of him in his beloved Tennessee orange. He cheered on the Vols with the same enthusiasm he had for the Atlanta Braves, proudly sporting their teams throughout the seasons.
Beyond his dedication to sports, Allen had a love for adventure and exploration. He enjoyed traveling to new places, making memories, and living life to the fullest. You could often find him cruising the open roads on his Can-Am, always with a smile and a quick-witted joke at the ready. His humor and warmth brought joy to everyone around him.
In addition to his parents, Allen is also preceded in death by his sister, Lenis Seals.
Allen is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Seals, who was not only his partner in life but also his greatest supporter in all things adventure. He will also be remembered fondly by his daughters: Jennifer (Kevin) Boxer and Rebecca (David) Daharsh; his brother, Gary (Linda) Seals; grandchildren: Elizabeth Daharsh, Ethan Daharsh, Lucas Daharsh, Carter Daharsh, Liam Boxer and Logan Boxer; his mother-in-law, Nancy Marsh; one niece and one nephew; and his loyal dog, Riley, who was always at his side.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Allen's life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Don Rackley officiating.
Allen will be laid to rest in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Georgia with the United States Air Force providing military funeral honors.
