Allen Wayne Shope-age 75 of Maynardville passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at his home. He was a graduate of Colonial High School, Class of 1969 in Orlando, Florida. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War and also served in Korea. He recently retired as a Tool and Die Maker in North Carolina. He was an avid motorcyclist who loved to ride his Harley-Davidson. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and over the years, his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. His other hobbies included his ski boat, the lake and water skiing along with anything outside to include hunting. Allen loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Shelton Shope, Jr. and Alva Lee Jones.

Survivors: sisters, Sandra Shope Guthery of Maynardville; Paricia Seiffert House of Hawthorne, Florida. Life-long best friend and brother, Jim Seiffert of Tavares, Florida. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Inc. 220 Highway 61-E, Maynardville, Tennessee 37807. Following at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Full Military Honors will be presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
