Allen Simons Obituary
August 31, 1935 - June 9, 2025
Allen Gene Simons, 89, of Kenosha, Wis., a beloved husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, in his home in Kenosha, Wis. surrounded by his family after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joan Simons; his two beautiful daughters, Deborah (Mark) Ratzburg and Coleen (Gary) Grant; seven grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Ratzburg, Daniel Ratzburg, Scott (Anika) Ratzburg, Brittany (Ryan) Willie, Sheldon Grant, Aubree Grant, and Douglas Grant and seven great-grandchildren, Makena Ratzburg, Olivia Ratzburg, Caden Willie, Kolton Willie, Benjamin Ratzburg, Finlei Willie, and Thomas Ratzburg.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Henry; mother, Peggy; brother, Harry; sister, Cindy, and his great-granddaughter, Uli Ratzburg.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 2020 91st St. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice Alliance Inc., 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 https://www.hospicealliance.org/support-us/honor-a-love-one, who took such great care of Allen in his final months.
