Allen Van Tassell. (67) of Anthony NM passed away suddenly on Dec 17, 2022. Allen was born in Livermore , Ca . On October 9, 1955. He lived the majority of his life in Anthony Tx / Anthony NM. Allen is survived by his daughter and son in law Jennifer Van Tassell and Juan Guerrero . His son Matthew Van Tassell and the love of his life Madisyn Guerrero . He is survived by a sister Kim Stoker (Rob) of Vancouver Washington. Survived by Marc Fontenot and Brandi Stoker.
He was preceded in death by two sons Michael Van Tassell and Baby Boy Van Tassell . And parents Ray and Ann Van Tassell .
Allen moved from California to Anthony Tx / NM when he was a teenager. He graduated from Anthony High School in 1973. He worked in the Agriculture the majority of his life .
Allen was an avid bowler . He was a lifelong member of the El Paso Keglers . He holds El Paso record for the highest triplicate (279). He was inducted into the El Paso Bowling Hall of fame in 2016 for Superior Performance.
Allen will be missed by many and always loved by his family .
For those who would like to join us in celebrating our beloved father . Viewing will be Dec 28 (Wednesday) from 5-7 pm at Sunset Funeral West. The burial will be Dec 29 (Thursday) at 1100 at the Anthony Community Cemetery.
