Allen Ali Shermon Wright was born on October 14, 1977 at Doctor’s North Hospital and he left this life on June 18, 2024.
He graduated from Mifflin High School. Allen was employed by I.T.C. Telemarketing where he became a supervisor, and then furthered his employment at Jumphome, Super Duper, Wendy’s, Prologistics, and L Brands.
Allen enjoyed learning taekwondo during his younger days, playing football and basketball with his friends. He was also a passionate sports fan, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved to cook like a chef, cut hair, and collect shoes.
Allen was preceded in death by grandfather, Charles Evans; grandmothers, Sara Wright Bell, Betty Wright-Ward; mother, Julia Kim Wright; father, John Wayne Mitchell; son, Allen S. Wright II; cousin, Tray Bays, LaShawn Johnson, Shantal Johnson, Shunny Johnson.
Allen leaves to cherish his memories; uncles, Chris Wright, Terrence Ward, Mark King, aunts, Tina Wright, Willa Johnson Thurman; brother, Sjon Wright; girlfriend, Regina Fields; grandson, Zymere Wright; nephews, Sjon Wright, Shamon Wright, Maki Riely, Jordan Harrison, a host of West Virginia family and a host of Columbus cousins and friends.
Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Monday, July 8, 2024 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
