Allison Ann Falgout Truxillo

Allison "Al" Ann Falgout Truxillo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at West Towne on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the age of 72. She was a native of New Orleans and resident of Port Allen. Allison was a retired preschool teacher at First Presbyterian Church, downtown Baton Rouge.
Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Monday, March 24th, 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, March 25th, 10 a.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., conducted by Rev. Jerry Martin. Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons. Cremation will follow and a private entombment of ashes will be held at a later date at Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Allison is survived by her husband of 52 years, Haywood A. Truxillo, Jr; their children, Wendi Truxillo Monson and husband Shaun, Haywood A. "Trey" Truxillo III and wife Kari, and Troy E. Truxillo; six grandchildren, Brody, Luke, and Jake Monson, Liam, Tony, and Kinsley Truxillo; siblings, Eldon Roy Falgout Jr (Bonnie), Rachelle Falgout Champagne (John), Lonnie Falgout (Tina); Ila Falgout Clark (Dale); godchildren, nieces and nephews.
Allison was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Helen Keller Falgout.
Allison was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a Eucharist Minister. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
