Dorothy Crowson "Dot" Sarradet

Dorothy "Dot" Crowson Sarradet a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the age of 86. She was a resident of Brusly and a native of Plaquemine, LA. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 9am until religious services at 12pm, conducted by Pastor Jeremy Coffey. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Brusly. Dot is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Sarradet, Sr.; children, James Sarradet, Jr. and wife Deana, Melissa Sarradet, and Mary Beth Devillier and husband Guy; grandchildren, Deanna Chiasson and boyfriend, Kevin and Dakota Chiasson, and Philip Devillier; great grandchildren, Dallas Tullier, RaeLynn Swarner, and Mia Devillier; siblings, Anna C. Hubbs, and Pearl C. Tate and husband David; sisters-in-law, Mary Anita Tullier, and Mardell Loup and husband Raymond; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew "Dully" and Florence "Doll" Mendoza Crowson; siblings, Lloyd Crowson and Andrew Crowson, Jr. and wife Gloria; niece, Julie S. Lemoine; nephew; Allen Cedotal; granddaughter-in-law, Lindsey Barrilleaux Deviller; father and mother-in-law, Paul, Sr. and Anita Dupuy Sarradet; and brothers-in-law, John L. Sarradet and wife Margaret, and Paul "Cutchie" Sarradet, Jr. and wife Sarah Ann, and Allen Tullier. Pallbearers will be James Sarradet, Jr., Guy Devillier, Philip Devillier, Dakota Chiasson, Craig Sarradet, and Dallas Tullier. Dot loved to cook and have her family together every Sunday for Sunday Dinner. She also loved to read, sew, listen to music and work in her flower beds.
