Allison C. Riggin (née Campion), 55, passed away at her home on Monday, August 18, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. A beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Allison will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.

Born on January 15, 1970, in New Rochelle, NY, Allison was the daughter of Susan (née Morse) and the late Paul Campion. She was raised in Rye, NY, and later lived in New York City before settling in Summit, NJ, where she raised her family.

Allison was a proud graduate of Lake Forest College in Illinois. A talented and dedicated student-athlete, she was instrumental in starting a lacrosse team in college. She also played on both the lacrosse and field hockey teams during high school. Her natural eye for design and aesthetics translated into a talent for interior decorating. She had a remarkable ability to make any space feel like home.

Allison loved gardening and took pride in the meticulous care of her plants and flowers. A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Summit.

Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she opened her heart and home to children in need as a foster parent. She was deeply blessed to adopt her beloved foster daughter, a testament to her boundless love and generosity.

Allison's legacy is one of strength, selflessness, and fierce devotion. Even in the face of illness, her will to fight never wavered, and she continued to put others before herself with grace and resilience.

Above all, she was an extraordinary mother. Being a mom was her full-time job, one she embraced with unmatched love, devotion, and selflessness. She would drop anything in the world to be there for her children, no matter the time or circumstance. Her care knew no limits, and her support never wavered. Even when she was ill, she put her children's needs before her own.

She is survived by her loving mother, Susan Campion; her cherished children, Jack Riggin, Katherine "Kate" Riggin, Matthew Riggin, and Cameron Riggin; her siblings, Jennifer O'Brien and her husband Kevin, and Paul "Tucker" Campion. She was predeceased by her father, Paul Campion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 23rd at 10:45 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ. Interment at St. Teresa's Cemetery will be private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial.
