Judith "Judy" Lora Riggin nee Sprague, age 83, longtime resident of Waukegan and native to Batavia, New York, passed away on August 6, 2025. Throughout her life she surrounded herself with family and passed peacefully with them by her side. Born on July 30, 1942, Judy lived a full life. Judy served her country in the Navy, was a devout follower of Christ, and traveled the world with her beloved husband, Bob.

She cherished her family, was a devoted nurse, and was a member of Biblical Baptist Church.

Judy is survived by her 6 children Margaret (Ernesto) Hinojosa, Robert (Marlee) Riggin III, John (Theresa) Riggin, Thomas (Beatriz) Riggin, Kenneth (Pamela) Riggin, and Lora (Frank) DeNotto. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, many relatives, and friends.

She joins in Heaven her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, Robert Milton Riggin, Jr.

Although she is no longer on this earth, the family is at peace knowing she is in the arms of the Lord. Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM, followed by entombment at Warren Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Biblical Baptist Church, 39236 N Greenbay Rd. Beach Park, Il 60087.
