Allynn Jacobsma age 45 of Sibley, Iowa died Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29th, with family present at the Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley.
A Private Graveside service for family will be on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the Holman Township Cemetery of Sibley.
The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to be directed to the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley.
Allynn Loren Jacobsma was born on March 11, 1979, in Sibley, Iowa, the son of Loren and Jane (Kannegieter) Jacobsma. He was raised in Little Rock, Iowa and later graduated from George Little Rock High School in 1997.
On October 5, 2003, Allynn was united in marriage to Amy Krogman. To this union a daughter, Emma Christine Jacobsma was born. Allynn worked for the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley for 23 years and farmed with his dad.
Allynn was baptized and confirmed at the First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Iowa. Things he enjoyed were farming with his dad, and spending time with his family. He liked Dodge pickups, riding his Gator, and ATV’s. He especially loved spending time with his daughter, Emma going to Tractor Pulls.
Allynn is survived by his daughter, Emma Jacobsma of Sibley, Iowa; parents, Loren and Jane Jacobsma of Sibley, Iowa; brother, Jason (Gina) Jacobsma of Sibley, Iowa; three nieces, Jaden Abels, Alyssa Jacobsma, and Breanna Jacobsma; and other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lucy Jacobsma, and maternal grandparents, Henry and Gertrude Kannegieter.
