You don´t no me. I´m a friend of Kim Hutton and she told me about your daughter Allyson. I´m the mom of a transgender daughter. I can´t think of anything more tragic than the loss of your daughter. Please know there are those, I amount them, who will love, support and advocate for our LGBTQ population. I embrace you as you grieve the loss of Allyson. I will carry your family with me .

I'm the mom of a kiddo in the LGBTQ+ community too. My heart is broken over the loss of your beautiful child. Our children are warriors, and they're changing the world. Akec's legacy will never die. It will go on and continue to create a more accepting world for our babies.
I am holding you up with love and strength now. May you find peace in knowing that Akec's work here made a difference and will continue to do so.

As the mother of a 28 year old trans daughter, my heart breaks for you. I can tell that Allyson is a beautiful person. I say "is" not "was" because she is still with you and always will be. Even though I never met you or Allyson, I will carry her with me. I will continue to fight for the rights of our kids and for all of the trans community, and I will do it in Allyson´s honor. I am sending so much love to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Lisa Brennan

Today, we honor the memory of Allyson Ketchum, a trailblazer and advocate whose light was dimmed far too soon. She courageously paved the way for acceptance and understanding, even when faced with unimaginable challenges. While we work tirelessly to protect our transgender youth, we must remember the struggles that transgender adults face each day. Leading with love and taking a stand against hate is imperative. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Allyson´s family, and we will do all we can to keep her light shining brightly.
