Alma Alcaraz

With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Alma Julieta Muñiz Alcaraz, who was born on October 14, 1983, in Guanajuato, México, and passed away on October 20, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Alma was a loving; kindhearted woman whose presence brightened every room she entered. She was a devoted mother who found joy and purpose in her sons, and her love for life was reflected in the music of Jenni Rivera, which she often listened to with pride and strength. Alma had a deep admiration for butterflies she saw in them beauty, transformation, and freedom. Today, she has become one herself a butterfly in heaven, her wings shining with peace, love, and eternal grace.
She is survived by her parents, José Luis Muñiz Villarreal and Antonia Velázquez; her beloved sons, David and Michael Alcaraz; her brothers, Luis Muñiz and his wife Dani, and José Muñiz and his wife Erika; and her former partner, José Alcaraz, who shares in the love and memory of their family.
Alma's memory will forever live on through the music she loved, the butterflies she admired, and the family who will cherish her forever.
May she rest in peace and fly freely among the angels.
Con profundo dolor, la familia anuncia el fallecimiento de Alma Julieta Muñiz Alcaraz, quien nació el 14 de octubre de 1983 en Guanajuato, México, y partió de este mundo el 20 de octubre de 2025 en Fort Worth, Texas.
Alma fue una mujer amorosa y de gran corazón, cuya presencia iluminaba cada lugar al que llegaba. Fue una madre dedicada que encontró alegría y propósito en sus hijos. Su amor por la vida se reflejaba en la música de Jenni Rivera, que escuchaba con orgullo y fortaleza. Alma tenía una profunda admiración por las mariposas veía en ellas la belleza, la transformación y la libertad. Hoy, ella misma se ha convertido en una mariposa en el cielo, con alas llenas de paz, amor y luz eterna.
Le sobreviven sus padres, José Luis Muñiz Villarreal y Antonia Velázquez; sus amados hijos, David y Michael Alcaraz; sus hermanos, Luis Muñiz y su esposa Dani, y José Muñiz y su esposa Erika; así como José Alcaraz, quien comparte el amor y recuerdo de su familia.
El recuerdo de Alma vivirá para siempre a través de la música que amaba, las mariposas que tanto admiraba y la familia que la llevará eternamente en el corazón.
