Alma Brady, age 86, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was born in LaCrosse, WI, July 16, 1938, daughter of the late Charles and Elma (Johnson) Oehrle and was a graduate of Central High School, La Crosse, WI.
Alma married William Brady and they shared many wonderful years together, blessed with 5 children, before he passed away in 2001. Alma was first and foremost a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. She also worked later on at the Oneida Casino serving beverages.
Alma enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, crocheting and watching her grandkids. She was also a former member of the Red Hatters Club.
Alma is survived by her children: Debra (David) Hockstock, Thomas Brady, Judy (John) Le Mere, Ed (Brenda) Brady and Mark Brady; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by lifelong friend since 3rd grade, Carol Ermo and a brother-in-law, LaVerne Antony.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, 2 siblings, Helen Antony and George (Dorothy) Oehrle and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 3 to 5 PM. A funeral service will follow at 5 PM. Burial will be in Mill Center Cemetery. To leave a message of condolence for the family, please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
