Alma Luciene Duff, age 94, of Hebron, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a full and vibrant life, filled with warmth, dedication, and love for those around her. She was born to the late Bivens Moore and Amanda Lee Moore on February 24, 1931 in Booneville, Kentucky.
Alma dedicated 37 years of her life working in the meat department at Kroger, where she was known for her hard work, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to her job.
Outside of work, Alma was a passionate fan of the Cincinnati Reds, and she enjoyed following her favorite team through both the highs and the lows.
Above all, Alma was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished the time spent with them, especially in her later years. Alma's home was a place of love, laughter, and comfort, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Alma is survived by her daughter, Jo Hunt; grandchildren, Heather (Greg) Shepherd, and Derek Dunaway; great grandchildren Ellen Chadwell, Christian (Jessica) Chadwell, and Olivia Madeline Dunaway.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Duff; her son, Jay Duff; and son-in-law, David Hunt; her siblings, Madeline (Charles) Chafin, Rowena (Dan) McIntosh, Morley (Flo) Moore, and Denny (Deanie) Moore.
A visitation for Alma will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, Kentucky from 11:00am until 1:00pm with a service to be held at 1:00pm. There will be refreshments offered in the reception area during the visitation. Alma will be laid to rest at Everton Cemetery in Everton, Indiana.
Alma's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will be cherished forever.
