Alma Farmer Obituary
Alma was born January 20, 1932 in North Carolina to the late Alma Curnel Farmer Sr. and Vesta Osborne Farmer.
He was also preceded in death by wife, Iris Geneva Farmer and grandson Jeffrey Farmer
The family will receive friends from 5pm - 8pm, Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 416 N. 2nd Street, Albemarle, NC at 11:00 am officiated by Father Peter Fitzgibbons. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park at 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.
Alma was a loving family man. He was an avid wood worker and enjoyed spending time in the mountains. One of Alma's favorite pastimes was deer hunting. He loved his church where he was a trustee of the Knights Columbus of Albemarle. Alma loved spending time with his family the most and would talk to anybody, he never met a stranger, and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Survivors include son, Zeke Farmer of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Susan Isenhour of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Amanda Gail Isenhour and Jamie Suzanne Isenhour; and many beloved great and great-great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Farmer family.
