Alma Hartman Obituary
Alma "Ruth" Hartman, passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 83 in Lake Butler, Florida. She was born on July 26, 1942, in Lenore, West Virginia. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Jackie Hartman, mother, Frances, father, Sam, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Ruth leaves behind her beloved sister, Ruby Stepp (John Jacobs), and her brother, Marvin (Pamela) Dalton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with many close friends who will fondly remember her vibrant spirit and smiling face.
In her leisure time, Ruth found joy in fishing, hunting, and bingo. Ruth never met a stranger, easily connecting with people and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
As we reflect on the life of Alma Ruth Hartman, we remember her as a woman who brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around her. Her legacy of kindness and love will forever be cherished by her family and those lucky enough to have shared in her journey.
Visitation Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 10:30am - 12:30pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service to begin at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
