West Springfield, Alma L. (Roewer) Helsel, 70, passed away November 16, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Waldemar and Dorothea Roewer. Alma served in the US Air Force from 1977-1980. She worked as a veterinary technician for the Rowley and Boston Rd Animal Hospitals for many years. She leaves her beloved husband, Kevin Helsel. All services are private. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
