Alma R. "Elm" Jones, 70 of Rawson passed away on Monday, September 2, 2025. She was born in Bluffton, OH on December 4, 1954, to Howard W. "Pete" Jones and Bette Jean (Webb) Jones. Elm was a 1973 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School. Elm is survived by her brothers; Richard R. (Patti) Jones of Hudsonville, MI, Tom P. (Sarah) Jones of Bluffton, Dave A. (Bonnie) Jones of Rawson, sister, Z. Jean (Dennis) Erb of Louisville, OH and sister-in-law Janis Jones of AZ. Elm is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Larry Jones, Starla Evans, Erin Jones, Brittany Klamer, Quentin Jones, Kristi Evans, Angela Bixler, Amanda Huges, Alex Jones, Matthew Erb, Tabitha Erb and Hannah Nisly. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Cameron Wayne "Bill" Jones. Elm was a member of Rawson New Hope Church where she was very active. She loved wood working, horses and Elvis Presley. Elm was a pioneer for women's equality, working jobs at Sohigro, UPS and finally Cooper Tire and Rubber Company where she retired. The family would like to express a special Thank You to Bridge Home Health and Hospice and all the health care workers, family members, neighbors and friends involved in her care over the last several years. They would also like to thank her primary care team at Bluffton Mercy Health and Abigail Nartker, CNP. No services will be held at this time. CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations can be made in memory of Alma to a charity of the donor's choice or the Hancock-County Community Foundation in her name.
