Barbara Lee Jones, daughter of William Glenn and Martha Mae (Templeton) Gladden, was born March 10, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life September 3, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years.

Barbara made a profession of faith in Christ and was saved at an early age.

She was raised in the Kansas City North area of Gladstone. She moved to the Louisburg, Missouri area with her parents in 1968. She went to Halfway High School her Junior year. She then moved to the Lebanon community and graduated from Conway High School in 1970.

In late October of 1970, she was united in marriage with Leroy Jones. To this union was born four children, Christy, Billy, Lorie and Jeffery.

Although her top priority was tending to the needs of her family and household, she also worked outside her home. She went to work for Independent Stave Bowl Factory and then H.D. Lee for several years. In later years, she worked along side her husband, Leroy, in their business, Jones Scrap Processors.

When she had a moment of free time, she enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing and reading. However, time spent and memories shared with her family, is what she treasured most.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Leroy; three children, Billy Jones (Tina), Lorie Jones and Jeffery Jones; grandchildren, Brittany Price (Roman), Courtney Nichols (Andrew), Brianna Morris (Jamie), Landon Daniel, Shyanne Jones-Porter (Pat, Jr.) and Shelby Clark (Josh); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Mason, Uriah, Elijah, Izayiah, Arianna and Brooklyn; other relatives and many friends.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; two sisters, Mary Vaughn and Glenda Hedgepath; and one daughter, Christy Lynette Jones.

Barbara was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.

Funeral Service will be Monday, September 8, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., also at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
