Alma Gladys Lynch, age 96 of Rocky Mount died on Sunday, August 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Lynch; her parents, Charlie Herbert and Ada Ingram Frith; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Donald Maddy; brothers, James, Larnie, Morris, Buren; and sister, Vivian.
Surviving are her son, Billy Lynch; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and C.W. Thomas; grandchildren, Brian (Vicky), Tim (Bev), Cheryl, Wanda (Cory); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Avis Sinclair, Betty Jones; brother, Buford Frith (Mary); numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Furnace Creek Baptist Church, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 with the Rev. Joe Dillon and the Rev. C.W. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family respectfully request no food at the home and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local food bank. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.

I will surely miss her alot. I was blessed to have met her and be her nurse. But I know exactly where this sweet lady is and she is in no pain. Heaven gained the most beautiful angel. I will miss asking her how she is and she would respond "I'm pretty good". I love you sweet alma and will miss your beautiful smile.
