Alma N. Millsap

1932 - 2025

Alma Norris (Ewers) Millsap, better known as Mom & Nana- was born September 4, 1932, to Lester Williams Ewers and Susie Ann Eldridge Ewers in Poteet, Texas.

She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29,2025 at the age of 92 years.

She married her best friend and love of her life Tom Henry Millsap on April 7, 1951, in Brady, Texas.

Alma is survived by:

3 daughters and 1 son and their spouses:

Peggy and Sidney Crenwelge, Sharon and Kevin Klein,

Joellen Silvey

and Henry and Sharon Millsap

7 grandchildren and their spouses:

Deanna Wilson,

Michael and Rebecca Sherwood,

Kathy and Oktay Ilalan,

Karen and Paul Cessna, Christopher Silvey,

Brittany and Jonathan Seaman, Katlin and Kye Raute

16 great grandchildren

and 20 great-great grandchildren.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, one infant son, Rodney Arthur Millsap, two son-in-law's, Mike Sherwood and Lynn Silvey, a great grandson Nathan Bustillos, two grandson's in laws, Carl Wilson and Kenneth Price, her parents, her four brothers and her three sisters.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Hill County Methodist Hospice, Fredericksburg Food Pantry, or a charity of your choice.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Hill Country Methodist Hospice staff, especially Brittany, Christine and Pastor Richard.

The Family also wants to thank all of our loved ones for all the love and support during our sweet Mama's journey.

Pall bearers are her grandchildren; Deanna Wilson, Michael Sherwood, Kathy Ilalan, Karen Cessna, Brittany Seaman, and Katlin Raute

Honorary pallbearers are her 16 great grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home.

Graveside services and interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Fredericksburg

All are welcome to gather with family afterwards for a reception at the Millsap Home in Stonewall.

Visitation for Alma Milsap will be held on Tuesday September 2nd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home.
