Alma Dunn Price

PRICE, Alma Dunn, 90, of Sussex, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Sussex County and daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Lena Humphries Dunn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin P. Price; daughter, Barbara P. Siena; sister, Margaret D. Hogwood; and brother, Joseph T. Dunn Jr. She was a retired employee with the Dept. of Social Services for Sussex County. She was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn P. Matthews and husband, Larry; son, William P. Price and wife, Vicky; grandson, Ricky Matthews and wife, Robyn; granddaughter, Cheryl M. Love and husband, Norman; three great-grandchildren, Kaylen, Hunter and Ryan; stepgrandson, Alexander Novoa; stepgranddaughter, Judy Castro; stepgreat-granddaughter, Maya; a devoted friend, Florence Dunn; special thanks to her caregivers, Gwen Johnson, Lucille Hall, Barbara Jones and Beth Seymour. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Antioch Baptist Church, Yale, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
